Our Philosophy: Creating Connection

We believe that restoring health requires reconnecting people with their innate ability to heal.

By understanding symptoms in context of the whole person, including their health history, family history, and life path, we gain awareness of how combinations of symptoms are the result of a progression of causes.  Through careful examination, palpation, and reflex analysis, we can understand symptoms as an individual’s unique expression of their history.

By interpreting the language of the body in context, we can find clues about what is needed to resolve symptoms and restore function.

Often patients quickly recognize the connection between their various symptoms in context of their health history.  Many have a sense of the point when a chronic symptom triggered a downward spiral in their wellbeing, with more and more symptoms becoming part of their daily life.  Mental health and physical health cannot be separated: they are expressions of the same patterns. When we unfold the health history, we interpret a narrative that provides a connected story about the group of symptoms and medical diagnoses and shows an opportunity to interrupt the chain reaction of health problems.

Our treatment connects people with their own ability to identify lifestyle factors that keep them from healing.  This can include habits like sleep, use of stimulants, dietary indiscretions, and improper exercise.  The resulting fatigue can affect the immune system, endocrine system and mental health.  By facilitating awareness of the effects of lifestyle and mental habits on their pattern of symptoms, a person becomes more connected to their day to day choices as they understand their own behavior and its importance to wellbeing.

Wellness is also recovered through deeper connection to the natural world through the senses, through food, and the experience of being a part of nature.  As people become healthier, they feel more in rhythm with the cycles of day and night, the seasons, and the cycles of life that we are all a part of. Our treatments help people reconnect to and appreciate the wonder of being alive.

It is impossible to heal without affecting others. With connection, personal relationships are improved.  A person can be a better friend, a more loving parent or child, more caring neighbor, or a more positive influence in their community.  Being good to others, providing service, and feeling a sense of purpose create outward ripples of connectedness and wellbeing.

We believe that in this way, anyone can heal.

Are you ready to connect with your own innate ability to heal? Let’s start the conversation.
